SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY – Crossroads Elementary School was selected from hundreds of schools across the country to receive a $47,684 grant to implement The Leader in Me, FranklinCovey’s whole-school transformation process for teaching 21st century leadership principles and skills to K-12 students. School Principal Julie Skeens said, “We are thrilled...Our education team is committed to teach and inspire every child in our school to become a leader.”

MacArthur Elementary honored by state for 'Making it Happen'

CEDAR LAKE, IN – MacArthur Elementary School was recognized by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Indiana Department of Education for their “Making it Happen” program. Using methods from The Leader in Me process, MacArthur organized LEAD Teams consisting of students from every grade. TWIN FALLS, ID – Teacher training for The Leader in Me process has begun in Twin Falls this week for Lincoln and I.B. Elementary schools. They decided to adopt the process after the student engagement changed dramatically for the better at Harrison Elementary, another Twin Falls elementary school which was already a Leader in Me school. When students return in August, “they’ll see a lot of difference in our school,” Lincoln Elementary principal Beth Olmstead said.
