One teacher commented, “the students are taking ownership of their learning. They set both academic and personal goals for themselves. Education Foundation turns 30, expands school leadership program

HENDERSONVILLE, NC – The Henderson County Education Foundation is expanding their support for The Leader in Me. The Leader in Me is expanding beyond Dana and Sugarloaf elementary schools to all elementary schools in Henderson County. Foundation Executive Director Paul Knott indicated that EOG test scores at Sugarloaf improved 50 percent from the beginning of the program to the end of the second year.
